Price Match Policy

Found the same certified diamond for less? Here is how our price match guarantee works.

We work hard to price every certified diamond competitively. If you find the identical diamond for less somewhere else, we will match it under the terms below.

1. What The Guarantee Covers

The Price Match Guarantee applies to certified loose diamonds only. It does not apply to settings, finished jewelry, or complete pieces such as a ready-made engagement ring.

2. Matching The Diamond

To qualify, the competitor's diamond must carry the same certificate number and the same diamond attributes as the stone listed on our website.

Send us the competitor's certificate and the product URL so we can verify the match.

3. Who The Competitor Can Be

The lower price must come from a legitimate certified retailer. The diamond must be:

  • In stock

  • Listed in the same currency

  • Available for purchase by the general public

These sellers are not eligible:

  • Private individuals and private sellers

  • Auction websites

  • Pawn shops

  • B2B and wholesale platforms

The Price Match Guarantee is for personal purchases. It is not available for resale or commercial purchases.

4. Timing

Price matching is available before you place your order. Once we approve a match, the matched price is held for 48 hours.

The lower price must still be live at the competitor at the moment you place your order.

5. Limits

  • The guarantee is a complimentary service and may be used once per diamond.

  • A price match cannot be combined with any other discount or promotion.

  • No further discount or promotion can be applied after a price match is approved.

  • Pricing errors and obvious typographical mistakes at the competitor do not qualify.

6. How To Request A Price Match

Email support@caratandclay.com with proof of the lower price — the competitor's product URL and a copy of the matching certificate. Our team will verify it and confirm your price.

7. Changes To This Policy

We may change these terms or withdraw the Price Match Guarantee at any time. If we cannot match a price after you have placed your order, you may cancel it for a full refund.
