Compass Set Cathedral Solitaire Engagement Ring Setting

The center stone is compass-set: its four prongs sit at north, south, east and west, like the points of a compass, instead of at the corners. This turns a square stone on its point and gives round stones a fresh look. The band is plain and polished, 2mm wide, and rises in cathedral arches to lift the stone, with no side diamonds.
