East-West Four Prong Solitaire Engagement Ring Setting

The center stone is set sideways, east to west across the finger, instead of the usual north to south, which gives long shapes like oval, emerald or marquise a modern look. Four claw prongs hold it. The band is very thin, 1.5mm to 1.6mm wide, with a knife edge (a ridge along the top). There are no side diamonds, so the center stone is the only diamond. It takes all ten shapes: round, cushion, oval, princess, emerald, radiant, pear, asscher, marquise or heart.
