Knife-Edge Claw Prong Solitaire Engagement Ring Setting

A knife-edge band slopes up from both sides to a thin ridge along the top, so it catches the light in a sharp line and looks slimmer than it is. Four claw prongs, which taper to a point, hold the center stone. There are no side diamonds. The band comes in two widths, 2mm or 2.5mm. It takes nine shapes: round, cushion, oval, princess, emerald, radiant, pear, asscher or marquise.
