Milgrain Halo Cathedral Solitaire Engagement Ring Setting

Around the center stone, a thin rim of metal is lined with milgrain, a row of tiny beads, so it looks like a halo without diamonds. The plain polished band rises in cathedral arches to lift the head, and four prongs hold the stone. There are no side diamonds. The band comes in three widths: 1.8mm, 2mm or 2.5mm. It takes eight shapes: round, oval, princess, emerald, radiant, pear, asscher or marquise.
