Raised Bezel Solitaire Engagement Ring Setting

A bezel is a thin rim of metal that goes all the way around the center stone, in place of prongs. Here the bezel sits on small open posts, so the stone is lifted a little above the band. The band is plain, high-polished metal, 1.3–1.5mm wide, with no side diamonds. It takes nine shapes: round, cushion, oval, princess, emerald, radiant, pear, asscher or marquise.
