Reverse Taper Pavé Halo Engagement Ring Setting

A halo is a ring of small diamonds around the center stone. With a round stone the halo here is cushion-shaped; with the other shapes it follows the outline of the stone. The band is a reverse taper, so it gets a little wider as it reaches the head, and graduated diamonds line its top halfway around, larger near the center. There are 32 accent diamonds, 0.55 ct in total, G–H color and SI1 clarity, on a band 1.8mm to 1.9mm wide. It takes all ten shapes: round, cushion, oval, princess, emerald, radiant, pear, asscher, marquise or heart.
