Split Shank Double Claw Solitaire Engagement Ring Setting

Near the head, the band splits into two curved strands with an open space between them, then rises into a trellis head, where the prongs cross over each other. Four pairs of claw prongs, eight in all, hold the center stone. The band is plain polished metal, 2mm to 2.3mm wide, with no side diamonds. It takes seven shapes: round, cushion, oval, emerald, radiant, asscher or heart.
