Question 1

Does the wedding band have to match the engagement ring?

Accepted Answer

No. They don't have to match, but most couples choose the same metal so the colors look right side by side. The bigger question is fit: a straight band may leave a gap under a low-set center stone, so look for a band designed to sit flush, or a curved band. Shop for the band with the engagement ring in hand.

Question 2

How early should we order our rings?

Accepted Answer

Allow at least four weeks for delivery, plus time to check the fit. Rings are made to order and arrive within 3 to 4 weeks with free shipping. Eligible rings include one free resize within 30 days of delivery, and that adds time before the wedding, so ordering two months ahead is comfortable.

Question 3

What is an eternity band?

Accepted Answer

An eternity band has diamonds set all the way around the ring. A half eternity band has them across the top only. A full eternity band shows the same sparkle however it turns, but it's very hard to resize, so get the size right or choose a half eternity, which can be resized and sits more comfortably next to other rings.

Question 4

Which earrings suit a wedding day?

Accepted Answer

Diamond studs or short drops. Studs suit any neckline and hairstyle and stay comfortable all day. Drops add movement and work well with an updo. If you'll wear a veil, close studs won't catch on the fabric. Browse diamond studs and drop earrings.
